Homework Delivery Functionality.
Our homework delivery process presented several problems, with students reporting difficulties in submitting and knowing the status of their submitted work.
Our action plan consists of 4 steps:
Pain Mapping: Survey of the pain points reported by students in the survey about the evaluation process and other materials we have access to.
Question Survey: Based on the pain points reported, we will survey the main doubts we have about the process and seek answers with collected data and stakeholders.
Benchmark: Research tools from other universities and platforms that have a similar function to the one we are looking for and analyze their strengths.
Requirements: We will define the requirements for this solution to be successful.
Idea: We will prototype a new feature and validate this idea internally to see if it meets the requirements raised.
Testing: We will test with users to understand if the presented solution has a good result and can continue on the evaluation path.
Adjustments: After testing, if the solution needs to be adjusted, the test can be redone if these adjustments are impactful.
Handoff: Documentation and presentation of the handoff to the squad.
Main challenges encountered: During the delivery process, we encountered several technical and ownership difficulties that made it impossible to deliver the solution completely. To do this, we needed to reduce the scope of the first delivery and map improvements in the process according to the progress of other areas of the company.
